The history of farming in southern New England begins with the Algonquin legend of the crow and the planting of the “three sister” crops of maize, beans, and squash and extends through time until the present day and the very specialized agribusinesses of the 21st century.  Tim Cranston will present this slide show based on the bus trip he led two summers ago.
