Get your four-legged friends to say “Cheese!” Allie’s Tack and Feed is holding its first photo contest starting Aug. 1.
The categories are: Cute, Funny, Best Outfit, Most Athletic and Best Friend. A photographer can enter each category once, each photo can only be entered into one category. Entries will be accepted throughout August. Voting will take place during September.
Bring in a 4 by 6 inch photo of your favorite animal and it could win you up to a $100 gift card.

“We’ll post all the entries in the store and have a voting box for the customers,” explained Steve Briggs Jr. Customers can vote once in each category.
While there are limitations on entries and votes, there are none for the species of the animals in the photos. “We’re expecting dog and cat, but I’m sure we’ll get a lot of horse photos and livestock, too,” Briggs added.

Winners will be announced Oct. 6 during Animal Appreciation Day.
One winner will be chosen for each of the five categories and awarded a $75 gift certificate. The photo with the most votes will receive a $100 gift card. Three more photos will be chosen from the non-winners and gift certificates of $20, $35 and $50 awarded to the photographer.
