The North Kingstown Free Library will host a Backyard Makeover program on June 23, 2012 at 10 a.m.
The Appalachian Mountain Club, AMC, and its Master Gardeners Rosanne Sherry, Yvonne Federowicz and Patty D’Ambra will lead the presentation and give participants simple steps for converting a yard into a beautiful and interesting habitat that attracts birds and butterflies. The talk will also include a discussion about native bushes and shrubs and how to create a space that is both attractive and low maintenance.
