Most of us have hazardous waste stored in our homes. Some examples are: oven cleaner, window cleaner, flea collars, pool chemicals, nail polish remover, oil based paint in rusty old paint cans. These items must not be thrown in with your trash.

- Mercury containing devices (thermometers, thermostats, fluorescent bulbs)
