"If it Wasn't for Bad Luck, I Wouldn't Have No Luck at All: Katrina, BP and a Tale of Trouble"
Professor Judith Swift, URI Communications Studies and Director of Coastal Institute will present a lecture about her recent interviews and research with the people of New Orleans. She will discuss how their lives have changed since Hurricane Katrina, the impact of the BP oil disaster and how they have managed to survive and even triumph despite these adversities.
