Why Immigration Reform is So Difficult: Latinos as Threat in the Media

Professor of Anthropology at the University of California in Irvine, Leo R. Chavez  will give a free lecture entitled "Why Immigration Reform is so Difficult: Latinos as Threat in the Media" as part of the URI Fall 2010 Honors Colloquium.  Professor Chavez is also the director of the Center for Research on Latinos in a Global Society.
