This year, with the help of RIAEA's President Mia Thompson, the Wickford Art Association scholarship opportunity was opened up to the entire state of RI Public High School Seniors, who have been excepted into an Art College.
And the winners are: First Place ($2500): Brooke Pacheco from Mt. Hope High School, Second Place ($1500): Jordan Walker from Cranston High School West, Third Place ($1000): Lauren Olsen from Barrington High School and the Presidents' Award (250.00 +5 year membership to Wickford Art Association (W.A.A.) and free entry into any W.A.A. Exhibit): Miri Kim from Chariho Regional High School
A reception will be held at the Wickford Art Association Gallery, for the recipients and public on Saturday, June 2, 2012 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
