A FREE concert featuring alumni, faculty, and select students from URI’s voice and piano
studios, performing songs and piano works by the two
composers in recognition of the 185th and 50th anniversaries of their deaths.
Program also includes a multimedia rendition of The Story of Babar, the
beloved children’s classic, narrated by Margaret Frazier and accompanied by
Takasawa and students in the piano program, with images from the book. Part of
the Parents’ Weekend programming at URI. Held in the URI Fine Arts Center
Concert Hall
