Fur, Feathers, Fins - Call for Fine Art
A Celebration of Animals in Art at Wickford Art Association

The Wickford Art Association (WAA) is presenting “Fur, Feathers, Fins”, a show to celebrate all creatures in fine art, both real and imagined. The open juried show runs from April 6 to April 29, 2018. Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public.
The Call for Art is on Tuesday, April 3 from 11 Am to 6 PM, Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 11 AM to 7 PM and Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 11 AM to 3 PM at WAA. Artists may refer to our website for submission guidelines and entry fees. Show registration is open to all artists (WAA members as well as non-members) with work in any fine art medium.
The juror is Amy Bartlett Wright, a professional artist, muralist, natural science illustrator and a member of RISD’s faculty.

The “Fur, Feathers, Fins” opening reception is on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at 36 Beach Street, North Kingstown, RI, with awards with cash prizes presented at 7:00 PM.
The Wickford Art Association is a non-profit organization with over 450 members from Rhode Island and New England. The association hosts art shows and classes in its gallery at 36 Beach Street in North Kingstown, and has produced the Wickford Art Festival every July since 1962. Wickford Art Association is dedicated to educating, encouraging and inspiring artists and art lovers throughout the community.
