Gilbert Stuart Museum to Host a Gala Fundraiser on August 5, 2016 Featuring a Sculpture Demonstration by Mimi Sammis
The Gilbert Stuart Birthplace and Museum will host a gala Evening Under the Stars fundraiser on August 5, 2016 to support art and education programs and on-going preservation projects at the museum. World-renowned sculptor and Rhode Island Master artist Mimi Sammis has graciously agreed to be the Honorary Chair for the event. Join us for a relaxing evening of wine and hors d'oeuvres outdoors under the stars. The highlight of the evening will be the exclusive opportunity to see an artist at work when Mimi Sammis gives a demonstration of her sculpting technique for all attendees.
The event will be held from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. rain or shine. Ticket price is $50.00. Reservations are requested by Friday, July 29, 2016.
