Girl Scouts were out again in force, marching in the Veterans Day parade through Wickford RI. Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes and Seniors honored our persons who served in the armed forces. Originally November 11th was known as Armistice Day honoring our WWI veterans, but the name was changed in 1947 to Veteran’s Day to honor all those who have served our country. Veterans- we salute you.
