Grand Jury Indicts Suspect in North Kingstown Sexual Assault
Thomas Ruotolo, 59, of Scituate, has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman last June in North Kingstown.
PROVIDENCE, RI—A Scituate man will be arraigned later this month on a sexual assault charge, the state Attorney General's office said today.
On Monday, the Statewide Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Thomas Ruotolo, 59, with one count of first degree sexual assault. It is alleged that on or about June 15, 2016, Ruotolo sexually assaulted a female. The alleged incident took place in North Kingstown.
The Rhode Island State Police conducted the investigation. Ruotolo is scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County Superior Court on February 20, 2017.
