West Greenwich Woman Killed In Exeter Crash: State Police
Troopers from the Hope Valley barracks are investigating a crash in Exeter.

EXETER, RI — A driver was killed this morning in a crash on Summit Road. State police troopers are investigating, Capt. Derek Borek said. The victim's name is not being released pending notifications to family. State police will release more information later today.
State police said the victim is a 41-year-old West Greenwich woman, who died after her vehicle exited the roadway and crashed into a tree on Route 165. A passing motorist saw her car in the tree line and reported the accident at 9:50 a.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rhode Island State Police Lieutenant Jay Gibbs said drugs and alcohol do not appear to have been a factor in the crash at this time. The driver was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.

The crash is still under investigation by members of the Rhode Island State Police Hope Valley Barracks, Forensic Services Unit and Collision Reconstruction Unit.
