Home Run Derby A Huge Hit For NKW Little League
Our annual NKW Little League Home Run Derby took place last night under the lights at Wilson Park.

The Annual North Kingstown Wickford Little League Home Run Derby took place last night, Friday, at Wilson Park. This year's HR Derby was sponsored by The Trap (thank you from all of us for your support). Once again, our Home Run Derby committee, led by super volunteer Jim McGrath, put on an impressive event for fans, players, and parents. The concession stand was rockin' and the weather held out so we could finally get this event, one of our favorite on the NKW calendar, to happen.

Players from Tee Ball to the Majors Division competed in this year's competition. There were a ton of great hits, towering home runs, and a great cheering section for our event. Great job by Coach Frank McGee and Dennis Campbell, who can in for relief of yours truly. Players of all divisions (under our rules of HR Derby) hit home runs, which is an incredible accomplishment!!! Congratulations to all of the participants. Here are the results of last night's competition.
