HomeGoods to Open Sunday in Quonset

HomeGoods is opening its new store at The Shops at Quonset Point this Sunday. According to the Providence Journal, the store is planning a "day-long grand opening."

Earlier this year, HomeGoods announced it would be vacating its longtime location farther up Post Road and moving into a 22,000 sq. ft. facility in Quonset. HomeGoods will join Verizon Wireless, Kohl’s, Dave’s Marketplace Supercuts, Central Nails, Subway and Sally Beauty in the 400,000-square-foot retail development at the mouth of Quonset Business Park.

The store – specializing in discount housewares from bedding to bath to frames and furniture – will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on opening day.
