House Fire Knocked Down: North Kingstown
Firefighters put out a small fire on Pendar Road on Saturday afternoon, fire Chief Scott Kettelle said.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Firefighters put out a small fire on Pendar Road on Saturday afternoon, Chief Scott Kettelle said. The fire started around 3 p.m. outside the home. Engine 5 from the Slocum Fire Station responded and had the situation under control quickly. No one was injured, and the interior of the house was not involved. The crews cleared the scene in about 45 minutes, he said. The cause was accidental.
