Kohl's Accepting Nominations For Outstanding Young Volunteers
Kohl's Department Stores will be accepting nominations for outstanding young volunteers for a chance to be awarded a scholarship.

If you know of an amazing young volunteer, now is the time to sing their praises. Starting February 1, Kohl's Department Stores will be accepting nominations for outstanding youngsters with a passion for volunteerism as part of its 2012 Kohl's Cares Scholarship Program.Â
Kohl's will be accepting nominations Feb. 1 through March 15 for kids ages six to 18. Nominators must be 21 years or older. (Submit your nomination here.)
Kohl's will be awarding more than $440,000 in scholarships and prizes to more than 2,200 young volunteers who have made a positive impact on their communities. Each of the more than 1,100 Kohl's stores across the country will see two nominees win a $50 Kohl's gift card. More than 200 store winners nationwide will win regional scholarships worth $1,000. Finally, 10 national winners will be awarded a $10,000 scholarship. Kohl's will also donate $1,000 to a nonprofit organization of each national winner's choosing.

The Kohl’s Cares® Scholarship Program is part of Kohl’s Cares®, Kohl’s philanthropic program focused on improving the lives of children.
