Lafayette Band to perform "Children's Favorites" on June 27
Featuring songs from "Frozen," "Harry Potter," "Toy Story" and more

"Children's Favorites" will be the theme when The Lafayette Band performs a free concert on Wed., June 27, at 6:30 p.m. The musicians will be led by conductor Bethany Clarke Bromley at the Lafayette Band Stand, North Kingstown Town Beach, Beach St., off Rt. 1A. The program will feature songs from "Frozen," "Harry Potter," "Toy Story" and other movies popular with all ages.
Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. In case of rain, the concert will be moved indoors to the Community Center at the Town Beach.
The Lafayette Band is a nonprofit community concert band with a mission to strengthen North Kingstown and surrounding communities through music. Founded more than 130 years ago, it is one of the oldest bands in Rhode Island. Though based in North Kingstown, the band’s members reside in many communities in Southeast New England.
