Lafayette Band to Perform Season Finale on August 1

"Band Members' Favorites" will be the theme Wednesday, 7 p.m. at the Band Shell, North Kingstown Town Beach

For its summer season finale, The Lafayette Band of North Kingstown will present a free “Band Members’ Favorites” concert on Wed., August 1, at 7 p.m. at the Band Shell, North Kingstown Town Beach, off Route 1A, Wickford. Led by conductor Bethany Clarke Bromley, the performance will include patriotic music, marches and show tunes.

Audience members should bring lawn chairs for seating. In case of rain, the concert will be held inside the N.K. Community Center at the Town Beach.

The Lafayette Band is a nonprofit community concert band with a mission to strengthen North Kingstown and surrounding communities through music. Founded 130 years ago, it is one of the oldest bands in Rhode Island.
