Lafayette Band wraps up summer schedule with August 4 performance
The free concert will take place at the North Kingstown Free Library in Wickford, with a special starting time of 6:30 p.m.

The Lafayette Band will conclude its summer schedule with a concert on Wednesday, August 4, at the North Kingstown Free Library, 100 Boone St., Wickford. The starting time is 6:30 p.m. Band director Bethany Clarke Bromley will conduct a spirited program of old favorites and new hits.
Audience members should bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. Admission is free. The concert is dependent on good weather and may be canceled on short notice. There is no rain date.
The Lafayette Band is a nonprofit community concert band with a mission to strengthen North Kingstown and surrounding communities through music. Founded more than 135 years ago, it is one of the oldest bands in Rhode Island. Though based in North Kingstown, the band's members reside in many communities in Southeast New England.
