Lafayette Band's August 4 concert cancelled
Weather services are forecasting at least 95% chance of rain in North Kingstown this evening
Due to the near 100% forecast of rain this evening in North Kingstown, the Lafayette Band has cancelled its outdoor concert scheduled for tonight, August 4, at the N.K. Free Library. There is no rain date.
This brings to an end the band's summer concert schedule. The band will resume weekly rehearsals in the fall, and local musicians are invited to join in. For information on the band and how to get involved, check lafayettebandri.org or facebook.com/LafayetteBand.RI/.
