September 21 between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. will be a special day for the folks of North Kingstown and Jamestown. We all will get to visit our animal shelter on 395 Hamilton Allenton Road for a fun open house & family day.
A special treat is to watch the wonderful exhibit the RI State Police and their trained K9 members put on for all our benefit. Guests that day will also include the North Kingstown Police K-9 Response Team. The the North Kingstown Animal Shelter Support Foundation, who sponsor this annual event, also have many other treats in store to keep everyone happy and busy.

Take advantage of a $5.00 nail clipping for your dog from our professional groomer. The Bake Table will be chocked with many goodies baked by town residents and donations from our so generous local businesses as well as a BARK table with donated items from Johnnie’s Barking Bakery for our four legged friends.
Animal adoption information will be provided by our town animal officers, Holly and Andrea. Of course, the stars of the Open House are the cats and dogs who reside at the NK Animal Shelter. You see, our goal is always to find good homes for all our animals, no matter how much love and training it takes. All monies raised by the NK Animal Shelter Support Foundation are used to Spay, Neuter and provide any medical attention required to make our furry friends healthy and happy.

We hope to see all of you there, it has been a great year for the animals that need forever homes and we owe that to you, our supporters, you come through all the time.
