NK Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation Awards Scholarships

NK Grads receive Scholarships

The North Kingstown Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation recently awarded scholarships to 3 NK High School graduates. Benjamin Coleman, Rogan Kennedy, and Kaitlin Young, each received $1000 at a presentation held at the NK Chamber of Commerce office. Coleman, 18, will be studying Neuro Science at the University of Miami, Florida. He graduated with a 4.2 grade average and is a member of the National Honor Society. He is also a member of Boy Scout Troop 152. Kennedy has been accepted to the University of Rhode Island and will be majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Young, also 18, is slated to become a Liberal Arts/Business Administration major at the University of Rhode Island. She is a member of the Rhode Island Honor Society and volunteered much of her time with the Boys and Girls Club of Newport, RI.
