NK Man Arrested for Attempted Molestation of 9-Year-Old
Police say Joseph Migneault of North Kingstown tried to molest a 9-year-old girl at his house and are looking for other potential victims.

A 45-year-old North Kingstown man was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly attempting to sexually molest a 9-year-old girl at his Yorktown Road house the day before.
Police said Joseph Migneault, of 193 Yorktown Road, was charged with assault with intent to commit a felony and released on $10,000 personal recognizance after his initial arraignment before Justice of the Peace Michael Robinson.
He was barred from contact with anyone under 18 and is due to return to Third Division District Court on Nov. 25 for a status hearing.

Police said they began their investigation after a complaint.
The case remains under investigation and police are asking for anyone with information about Migneault committing similar offenses to call the NKPD detective division at 401-294-3316 ext. 8211.
