The trophy case for North Kingstown High School's music program is getting a bit fuller after last weekend. The NKHS Symphonic Band, Concert Choir and String Ensemble all placed in the National Music Competition in Holyoke, MA last weekend.
NKHS competed against 30 other groups from around the country and scored a "superior" rating – the highest possible rating in the competition. Only six "superior" ratings were handed out...and North Kingstown nabbed half of them.
