NK's Kantor Promoted to Senior Vice President at Belmont Savings Bank
Evan Kantor of North Kingstown has been with Belmont Savings Bank since 2012.
Belmont Savings Bank announced today that Evan Kantor has been named Senior Vice President Director of Accounting Operations. His duties include overseeing the finance department’s design, development and implementation.
Kantor joined Belmont, Mass.-based Belmont Savings in Aug. 2012, transforming the finance department during a time of rapid growth.

“Evan’s critical improvements made the finance department unquestionably more efficient since our IPO,” said Bob Mahoney, President and CEO of Belmont Savings. “As Belmont Savings continues its momentum, his partnerships with our indirect auto, loan servicing and loan operations teams will prove exceedingly helpful.”
As the Bank’s Director of Accounting Operations, he manages the day to day accounting of the Bank and oversees the Bank’s Vendor Management program.

Previously, Kantor worked at First Marblehead as Managing Director and Citizens Bank as Senior Vice President Consumer Lending CFO, where his responsibilities included investor reporter, accounting support and budget forecasting.
Kantor resides in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. He is a graduate of Rutgers College, where he majored in Economics and English. He also received his MBA in Finance from Rutgers Grad School of Management.
