NKW District 10's Roll Into Finals Against Warwick Continental

After posting impressive wins, North Kingstown Wickford Little League is set to face Warwick Continental in the District 3 10U finals.

The 10U District team for North Kingstown Wickford Little League has made it to the championship finals. After early wins against local rivals Narragansett and Coventry Little Leagues, NKW took its first loss of the tournament against Warwick Continental American on Monday. This set up a win or go home game vs Coventry this past Thursday night. North Kingstown Wickford prevailed and beat Coventry to get into the championship game.

Game will be a rematch of Monday's contest vs Warwick Continental American. The championship game will be at Warwick's D'Abrosca Field, which is behind the Crowne Plaza off Route 95 and 113 (East Ave.) Game time is 1 pm. If North Kingstown Wickford wins, it will set up the "if" game tomorrow, Sunday. An "if" game comes into play in a double elimination tournament if one of the teams in the championship game has yet to lose a game in the tournament. So, if NKW wins, it will be 3rd game vs Warwick Continental American in this tournament.

Good luck to all the players, coaches, and families today!!!
