NKW Little League's Tee Ball Super Sunday Recap

At the conclusion of each Tee Ball season, the players and families are treated to a Super Sunday showcase event. This event brings the players onto the Majors field at Wilson Park, a field that many will be playing on in the not so distant future. The teams play a traditional defensive alignment, slightly adjusted for Tee Ball level, and batters get to run the bases. Each team played a two inning game in front of family and friends cheering loudly with each hit and play made in the field. After the game, players receive a medal for their participation. And the memories for these players and families will last a lifetime. The Tee Ball Program is baseball at its very early stages and the joy these players get from hitting the ball and running to first is just priceless to watch.

North Kingstown Little League would like to thank the many volunteer coaches that helped make this season so successful. This age group can be challenging for a number of reasons and we appreciate your patience with the kids. And, judging by the play on the field, you have done an incredible job working with these rising stars of Little League. I saw some excellent hits, several great defensive plays, and most importantly, a lot of smiles - from players and families.
