North Kingstown Community Chorus awards 2 scholarships
Join us Saturday, April 30 at 7 PM or Sunday, May 1 at 3 PM as we award scholarships to Erin Alexander and Olivia Rich at our Spring Concert
The North Kingstown Community Chorus is proud to be giving scholarships to two very talented young ladies who will be continuing their music studies at the college level.
Erin Alexander has been awarded the North Kingstown Community Chorus Scholarship and will attend the School of Music at SUNY in Fredonia, New York in the fall. Erin has been in the North Kingstown High School Concert Choir since 2013 and has been in the school's annual musicals. She is ranked first alto for the RI Senior All State Chorus and has studied dance for 12 years. She is a member of the International Thespian Society and is an honor student at NKHS.
Olivia Rich has been awarded the Janet Berry Scholarship. She is a graduating senior at The Prout School. Olivia has performed in "Godspell" at the Stadium Theater, was ranked first soprano in RI Allstate Senior Choir and was the winner of Wakefield Idol. She has performed in many of the Prout musicals and sang with the Prout choir at Saint Patrick's Cathedral and in cathedrals in Italy.

Erin, pictured in the white blouse, will be performing at the Saturday concert and Olivia, pictured in the blue jean jacket, will be performing at the Sunday concert.
Tickets are $10 if reserved or purchased in advance and are $15 at the door. Call 295-1699 to reserve your ticket.
