North Kingstown Photographer to Open Exhibit at PAC This Sunday
Don Gregory, a local nature photographer, will exhibit with painter Joan McConaghy in the show "Inspirations".

The Galleries of the historic Providence Art Club will open a new exhibitions featuring
the work of four local artists with Opening Receptions on Sunday, September 27
from 2-4pm. Light refreshments will be served and the artists will be on hand
to discuss their work. The shows on view will feature diverse works in the
media of drawing, painting, and photography. All three shows focus on the
themes of process, inspiration, and how the two can develop over time.
In the Maxwell Mays Gallery painter Joan McConaghy and photographer Don Gregory will exhibit together in
the show titled “Inspirations” and will both exhibit artworks with themes and
motifs drawn from nature. Ms. McConaghy holds a BA, BS, and MA from Rhode
Island College and also studied in the School of Education at Boston
University. In addition to the Providence Art Club She is a member of the
Wickford Art Association and the Pawtucket Arts Collaborative. Ms. McConaghy
maintains a studio in the historic Deacon Taylor House at the Art Club. Mr.
Gregory holds a JD and is a practicing attorney and photographer who focuses on
landscape and natural themes. He was accepted to the Providence Art Club
as an exhibiting artist member two years ago, and recently featured large scale
photographs in the Club’s exhibition space at One Financial Plaza.
Two solo exhibitions featuring the work of artists Don Paulhus, Sr. and Anthony Tomaselli will also open this weekend.

Gallery Hours are weekdays 12-4pm, weekends 2-4pm.
