North Kingstown To Remember 9/11 With Saturday Ceremony

The morning ceremony will take place on the 20th anniversary of the events that killed nearly 3,000 people, including five Rhode Islanders.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — North Kingstown will remember the victims of the 9/11 attacks Saturday with a ceremony at North Kingstown Town Beach.

The morning ceremony will take place on the 20th anniversary of the events that killed nearly 3,000 people, including five from Rhode Island.

Fire officials said the ceremony will honor "the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, and the brave efforts of police, fire, rescue and military."

The ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. at 10 Beach St.
