North Youth Lacrosse prepares for NORTH Day

North Kingstown Youth Lacrosse

Wilson Park will be a sea of black on gold on Saturday, June 2nd for NKYL’s North Day. The main event of the day will be six home games, both girls and boys, as the lacrosse teams continue their success against teams throughout the state. Games will take place from 9:00am through 1:00pm. Not only will it be a great day for lacrosse, but several other activities are planned. Eddie’s BBQ and Del’s Lemonade will be in attendance for the entire event. Chad Halt, 2nd Time Around Sports, will have a tent where players can learn stick stringing or purchase equipment, including his signature, pre-assembled sticks. In addition, face painting is available to all players and their siblings. Perhaps the most anticipated activity for the players is the coaches’ dunk tank. Players will have the opportunity to use their sticks and take a shot at dunking the coaches.

North Youth Lacrosse invites the community to come and enjoy a great day of Lacrosse. Lacrosse continues to be one of the fastest growing sports in America. This is a great day to come and see what the sport is all about.
