NORTHEATRE's Annual Showcase Is A Hit
Audiences flock to North Kingstown High School's auditorium for the annual showcase of student directed skits.
Friday evening found 's auditorium packed full with an audience eager to see Showcase In Yo' Face 2011.
This annual event is a presentation comedy skits acted and directed by NORTHEATRE, the high school's drama club. The audience was kept entertained with performances that included everything from a spoof of the Disney hit High School Musical, to a zany news report.
This year's show included "Action News" directed by Maegan Maybach and Maureen O'Brien, "High School Musi-pocalypse" directed by Nick Pichette and Ben Susla, "A Backwards Fairytale" directed by Lloyd Slade, "I'm a Teenager Get Me Out Of This Family" directed by Isabella Bennett and Cat Marginson, "Drugs are Bad" directed by Emma Romano and a finale of "We R Who We R" choreographed by Kate Arthur.

Proceeds from the event are put towards a scholarship fund for senior theater students.
