Obituary: Anne L. Duffy, 69,

Anne L. Duffy, 69, of North Kingstown, passed away October 3, 2014, after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, John E. Duffy, Jr.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late George and Marguerite (Fortin) LeBeau. Besides her husband she is survived by her sons, John E. Duffy, III and his wife LeeAnn, Mark A. Duffy and his wife Lori, Thomas L. Duffy and David G. Duffy and his wife Amy; grandchildren, Robert Duffy-Stephenson, Carol “Abby”, Alexis, Grace, Aidan, Kathryn and David Duffy; and her sisters, Catherine Bolster, Peggy Flynn and Jeanne Holmes.

She was the mother of the late Margaret R. Duffy-Stephenson.

She was a great wife and mother in good times and bad; and the high point of her life was her grandchildren.

A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, October 8th at 10:00AM at St. Francis de Sales Church, School St., North Kingstown. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Calling hours: Tuesday, October 7th 5-8PM at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Francis de Sales Church.
