Anthony J. Bodzioch, 96, of North Kingstown, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.

Anthony J. Bodzioch, 96, of North Kingstown, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Joan R. (Gwozdz) Bodzioch for sixty-five years.

Born in Adams, MA, he was a son of the late Joseph and Honorata (Paradysz) Bodzioch of Poland.

A twenty year Veteran of the US Navy, Mr. Bodzioch served in WWII.

After his retirement from the Navy, he worked as a supervisor for General Dynamics Electric Boat.

He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Branch 42 and the American Legion. He was a communicant of St. Bernard Church for many years.

He was the father of John Bodzioch of Wakefield, Patricia Bodzioch of Seattle, WA, Mary Stracensky (Stephen) of Exeter, Jane Robbins (Howard) of North Kingstown, Anthony Bodzioch (Ingeborg) of Pittsburgh, PA, Judith Wooler (David) of South Kingstown and the late Joseph Bodzioch; and thirteen grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Albina Cerrone, Joseph, Bruno, Stanley and Leo Bodzioch.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 8:45am from the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown. Burial with Military Honors will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, North Kingstown. Visiting hours Monday 4-6pm.
