Obituary: Betty L. (Harper) Greene, 83

Betty L. (Harper) Greene, 83, of North Kingstown died peacefully at home on Monday, December 22, 2014. She was the wife of the late Frank D. Greene, Jr. Born in South Norfolk, VA, she was the youngest of 14 children of the late Jesse L. Harper and Sally L. (Williams) Harper.

Mrs. Greene was a Homemaker and a long time member of the First Baptist Church in North Kingstown.

She leaves her five children: Frank D. Greene and his wife Lynda of Cranston, Steven M. Greene and his wife Melinda of Coventry, Michael D. Greene and his wife Brenda of North Kingstown, Teresa L. O’Callaghan and her husband Jerry of Queens, NY, and Todd A. Greene and his wife Jaci of Coventry. She was the loving grandmother of five grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 29, 2014 at 11:00 am in The First Baptist Church in North Kingstown, 1135 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown. Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
