Obituary: Casimira G. "Cassie" Cheetham, 95

Casimira G. “Cassie” Cheetham, 95, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on Thursday, December 4, 2014. She was the wife of the late Welton K.. Carr and the late Ernest C. Cheetham. Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Wojciech Domaracka and Filamana (Kruszaniecka) Domaracka.

Mrs. Cheetham was a Homemaker and an active member of the North Kingstown Senior Association for 40 years, where she served as President. She attended St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Wickford and was an avid gardener.

She leaves her two loving children, Kenneth W. Carr of Stonington, CT and Dorothy E. McAleer and her husband Donald of North Kingstown. She was the mother of the late Gertrude C. Carr and Norma Carr Calerese. Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Mrs. Cheetham’s life will be held at a later date. Burial will be private. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted.
