Debra Wilson of North Kingstown passed away Sunday at the age of 52.

Debra L. (Hamilton) Wilson of North Kingstown passed away Sunday, Dec. 16 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was 52 years old.Â
She leaves behind her husband of 26 years, James S. Wilson, and her two sons – John Wilson of East Greenwich and Colin Wilson of North Kingstown.

Born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Ervin T. Hamilton and the late Bernice Hamilton. She was an insurance agent with Abrams All State Agency of North Kingstown. She volunteered as an election official in North Kingstown for 20 years, supported Big Sisters, volunteered at the North Kingstown-Exeter Animal Protection League (i.e. the Pet Refuge) and was a communicant of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Wickford.
Aside from her husband, father and sons, Wilson leaves behind her brothers Jerry Brown of Kentucky, Ervin T. Hamilton Jr. of San Diego, James Hamilton of Kentucky and Randy Hamilton of Florida. She was the daughter-in-law of Paul Wilson and his wife Elizabeth of North Kingstown. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved dog, Champ.

Her Requiem Eucharist will be held Thursday, Dec. 20 at 10 a.m. in , followed by a reception in the Parish Hall immediately after the service. Funeral procession for Burial in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery will leave at 2:30 p.m. from St. Paul's Church.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 3 to 8 p.m. at .Â
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to The North Kingstown-Exeter Animal Protection League, 500 Stony Lane, North Kingstown, RI 02852 will be appreciated.
