Obituary: Dr. Sharon K. Courtney, 52

Dr. Sharon K. Courtney, 52, of North Kingstown, died Monday, November 17, 2014. She was the loving wife of Richard E. Courtney. Born in Kansas City, KS, she was a daughter of Charles F. Jones of Kansas City, MO and Patricia E. (Brandt) Jones.

Dr. Courtney was a graduate of Kansas State University where she received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She was a member of the American Veterinary Medicine Association.

Besides her husband, she leaves her loving son, Mark D. Courtney of North Kingstown. She was the sister of Carolyn Fillingham of Kansas City, MO and the late Lori Eaton.

Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 2-4 pm in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown.
