Eleanor "Ann" (Boothman), 77, of Wickford, died peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Roger Williams Medical Center.

Eleanor “Ann” (Boothman), 77, of Wickford, died peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the wife of the late William C. “Nip” Waring, III. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Ernest R. Boothman, Emma E. (Coe) Burnett and Juan “Don” Burnett.

Ann worked as the vouching & administrative assistant at Senesco Marine for the last three years. Prior to that, she worked at Edgehill in Newport, Meadows Edge Recovery Center, and Roger Williams Outpatient Clinic. She was a communicant of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Wickford where she served on the vestry, altar guild, and hospitality committee. She was a member of Smith’s Castle where she the bookkeeper and member of the board of directors. She also assisted with the organization of the Point Judith Bass & Bluefish Tournament.

She leaves her loving daughter, Patricia Waring-Ward and her husband Mark of Wickford. Cherished grandmother of Tyler Waring Ward and his companion Cassandra Bravetti of Cumberland, Claudia Coe Wojcik and her husband Matthew of North Kingstown, and Alexis Respess Ward of Wickford. She was the sister of the late Ernest R. Boothman. She also leaves her faithful dogs and companions, Sophie, Gus, Dayzee, and Otis.

Her Requiem Eucharist will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 11:00 am in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 55 Main Street, Wickford. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will be appreciated. All arrangements have been entrusted to THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD.
