Elizabeth J. "Betty" (Flick) Bragger, 86, of North Kingstown, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 17, 2015.

Elizabeth J. “Betty” (Flick) Bragger, 86, of North Kingstown, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 17, 2015. She was the beloved wife of Albert E. “Ted” Bragger, Jr. The couple were married for 64 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Raymond M. Flick and Vivian M. (Morris) Flick.
Mrs. Bragger was a gifted artist, gardener, and lover of architecture. She worked at her parent’s restaurant, Ray’s Diner in her earlier years. Betty enjoyed square dancing with her husband Ted every Saturday night for 14 years and was an avid Andy Williams fan.
Besides her husband, she leaves her two loving children, Mark A. Bragger, Sr. and his wife Luella of Hope Valley and Elizabeth J. Gilloran and her husband James of Pomfret Center, CT. She was the mother of the late Malcolm S. Bragger. Cherished grandmother of Virginia Bragger, Patty Wilkinson, Mark Bragger, Sarah Gilloran, Julia Gilloran, and great-grandmother of Lyra Elizabeth Wilkinson. She was the sister of the late Marjorie V. Lamphier.

At Mrs. Bragger’s request, her funeral and burial in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Gifts in her memory to the North Kingstown-Exeter Animal Protection League (Stony Lane Pet Refuge), P.O. Box 83, North Kingstown, RI 02852 will be appreciated.
