Obituary: Ellen C. (Fregeau) D'Agenica, 69

Ellen C. (Fregeau) D’Agenica, 69, of North Kingstown, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Robert A. D’Agnenica. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Claire (Remillard) Johns of Venice, FL.

Mrs. D’Agnenica was a graduate of Rhode Island College where she received her Bachelors and Masters degree in Education. She taught in parochial & public schools and was an elementary school principal in several communities, most recently at Stony Lane Elementary School in North Kingstown.

She enjoyed sailing, golf, bicycling, kayaking, tennis, needlework, and playing the clarinet with the Lafayette Band.

Besides her husband and mother, she leaves her two loving children, Beth E. Powers and her husband Thomas of North Reading, MA and Jason R. D’Agnenica and his wife Nicole of New York, Ny. Cherished grandmother of Julie D’Agnenica and Alec D’Agnenica,both of New York, NY. She was the sister of Jeanne Burke of Warwick.

Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 am in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown. Burial in St. Ann Cemetery will be private. Relatives & friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
