Obituary: George R. Leo, Sr., 78

George R. Leo Sr. of North Kingstown died peacefully on Thursday, October 25. He was 78 years old. He was the beloved husband of Bette L. (Wilson) Leo. Born in Waterbury, CT, he was a son of the late Sabato Leo and Jennie (Negro) Leo. 

Leo was a metal worker for Century Brass Company until his retirement. He enjoyed playing pool, cards, and was a member of the North Kingstown Senior Center.

Besides his wife, he leaves his children, George R. Leo, Jr. and his wife Lauren of Clinton, CT, Ann Marie Leo, and Deborah L. Colacone and her husband Dennis of North Kingstown. Cherished grandfather of 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Domenic Leo and Julie Liberte, both of Waterbury, CT. 

His funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Cranston-Murphy Funeral Home, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown. Burial in Elm Grove Cemetery will be private. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted.
