North Kingstown resident Harry J. Jacobs passed away this past Sunday (June 10) at Kent Hospital at the age of 64. Originally from Duxbury, MA, he was the son of the late Samuel Jacobs and Anne (Fernandes) Jacobs. He leaves behind his wife Emilie E. (Davis) Jacobs.
Jacobs worked as a dispatcher for various transportation companies and was also a greeter at . He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion of West Warwick.

Jacobs was an avid karaoke fan, never passing up the opportunity to display his musical talents.
Aside from his wife, he leaves behind three children – Sean R. Davis, Sarah C. Jacobs and Rachel E. Jacobs, all of North Kingstown.

His funeral service will be held Friday, June 15 at 10 a.m. at . Friends and family are invited to calling hours on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.
