Henry H. Clark, 87, of North Kingstown, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 4, 2015.

Henry H. Clark, 87, of North Kingstown, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 4, 2015. He was the husband of the late Violet E. (Atcherson) Clark.

Born in Nashville, TN, he was a son of the late Harvey E., Sr. and Marguerite (Thompson) Clark.

A twenty-seven year Veteran of the US Navy, Mr. Clark served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam; earning the National Defense Service Medal and Six Good Conduct Awards.

Henry was the owner of Clark & Sons Vending Company, a company he founded with his late son Lannis after his retirement from the Navy.
An avid bowler, he was a member of the North Kingstown Men’s League and the Wakefield Mixed Seniors. He also enjoyed gardening. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family for get-togethers and holidays.

He leaves four sons, Jerome H.X. Clark of Pennsauken, NJ, Darryl E. Clark of Matunuck, Guy C. Clark of West Warwick and Marc D. Clark of Boston, MA; two brothers, Thomas Clark of San Diego, CA and Chester Clark of Cleveland, OH; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Lannis H. Clark.
His funeral service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2014 at 9am in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown. Burial with Military Honors will be in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Friday 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Violet Clark Scholarship Fund at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 475 Cranston Street, Providence, RI 02907 will be appreciated.
