Obituary: Kathleen M. Asher, 65

Kathleen M. Asher (McKeon), 65, passed away December 24, 2014 at home. She was the beloved wife of Gary D. Asher; and the daughter of the late Francis H. and Lillian G. (Tierney) McKeon.

Kathleen was the loving mother of Sean G. Asher and his wife Carole and Courtney A. Hughes and her husband Robert; loving grandmother of Emma, Patrick, Madison and Christopher. She was the sister of Steven F. McKeon and his wife Helen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was a school teacher for thirty-two years for the former Horton School in Cranston. She was a Member of the Plum Beach Garden Club and the Belfast Northern Ireland Student Exchange Program.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, travelling and crafting.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial December 31, 2014 at 10am in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown.

Burial will be in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8pm in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the North Kingstown Food Pantry, 445 School Street, North Kingstown, RI 02852 will be appreciated.
