Millicent (Walsh) Williams, 93, of North Kingstown, died peacefully with her husband at her side on Thursday, January 22.

Millicent (Walsh) Williams, 93, of North Kingstown, died peacefully with her husband at her side on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at South County Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Ralph E. Williams. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Francis A. Walsh and Lillian G. (Manning) Walsh.

Mrs. Walsh was a Civil Service Employee at Quonset Air Naval Station for 30 years. She began working at age 17 for the phone company in Wickford. She loved to travel and share her husband’s love of art. She was beloved by everyone who knew her, often referred to as “everyone’s aunt.”

Besides her husband, she leaves her brother, Quentin M. Walsh of North Kingstown, her cherished niece, Robin Lee Behringer, grand nephew, Zachary Behringer, and several nieces and nephews.

At Mrs. Williams’ request, her funeral and burial in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
