Obituary: Raymond S. Noack, 86, Providence Police Officer

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.

Raymond S. Noack, 86, of North Kingstown, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Adele A. (Simone) Noack. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Arthur C. Noack and Catherine (Baxter) Noack.

Mr. Noack served on the Providence Police Department for 28 years until his retirement. He proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. He was a Communicant of St. Bernard Church and a member of the Providence FOP.

Besides his wife, he leaves his three sons, Steven R. Noack and his wife Jule of Cumberland, Thomas E. Noack and his wife Ann of Midlothian, VA and Theodore W. Noack and his wife Dana of Minneapolis, MN. Cherished grandfather of Beverly Andrade of East Walpole, MA, Christopher T. Noack, Catherine B. Soucie, Emily A. Noack, all of Richmond, VA, Joseph M. Noack, Megan N. Noack and Logan W. Noack, all of Minneapolis, MN. He was the brother of Ann Noack of Wilmington, NC, Claire Bolger of West Chester, PA and Donald Noack of Barrington.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 4, 2014 at 10:00 am in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Sunday from 3:00 – 6:00 pm in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main St., Wickford Village, North Kingstown.
