Obituary: Richard F. Grabowski, 70

Richard F. Grabowski of North Kingstown passed away at home on Friday, Nov. 30. He was 70 years old. He leaves behind his wife Gerry R. (Fortune) Grabowski.

Grabowski was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Felix S. Grabowski and Loretta (Klonowski) Grabowski.

He was a systems engineer for Alltel until his retirement. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Francis Chapter and was a Fourth Degree Knight. He was a communicant of St. Bernard Church.

Besides his wife, he leaves his three children: Karen A. O'Connell and her husband Daniel of Hope Valley, Steven R. Grabowski and his wife Erica of Philadelphia, PA, and Michael P. Grabowski of Raleigh, NC. Cherished grandfather "Boss" to Timothy S. Grabowski, Katelyn G. Grabowski, both of Philadelphia, PA, and Roselani D. Grabowski of Raleigh, NC. He was the brother of Robert Grabowski of Prairie, MN. 

His funeral will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. from , North Kingstown with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in . Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
