Obituary: Theresa Mary Kling, 84

Theresa Mary (Cummings) Kling of North Kingstown passed away Saturday, Dec. 1. She was 84 years old. She leaves behind her husband Joseph C. Kling, Jr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Patrick L. and Bride E. (Garrity) Cummings.

Kling worked for the Navy Exchange Warehouse in Quonset before retiring. She was an avid golfer and duckpin bowler. She enjoyed Irish music and loved her family.

Besides her husband, she leaves behind three children – oseph C. Kling, III of MA, Patrick L. Kling of Hendersonville, NC and Theresa M. Kling of Providence; a brother, James Cummings of Narragansett. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two grand-dogs. 

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 8:45 a.m. from the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in . Burial will be in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Monday 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated.
